Ambulance Chasing – solicitors & claim companies advertising in A & E departments

A whistle blower has contacted us to complain of advertising in A & E Departments.  Apparently it is common practice throughout the UK for accident solicitors and their cohorts, “ambulance chaser” to have their business cards and “fliers” on prominent display, sometime in the surgical areas.

We are told management turn a “blind eye” and the practice is condoned because of alleged “back handers.”  It is often the case, representatives of the firms will move displays in A & E in order gain maximum prominence.  Whatever the case, we would like to hear more about it!

If you have been to A & E or if you work in A & E and can confirm this unethical practice, we would like to hear from you.
