Redundancies at Heathrow and other BAA Airports

Whistle Blowers Press Agency has been told in order to reduce cost, BAA will shortly announce large scale redundancies, whilst at the same time employing more than the equivalent personnel as "consultants".  Effectively, it means BAA will be employing more staff than they have now and will incur greater but possibly hidden costs.

If it is true, what is behind this strategy?  Can this be traced back to the forthcoming appeal to the Regulator in respect of the Stansted & Gatwick enforced sale?  What is happening at BAA?  We have received a number of complaints and theories!
