Whistle Blowers Press Agency Has A Temporary Job Vacancy


Whistle Blowers Press Agency has a temporary vacancy on a 3 month contract that may be extended for a minimum of six or nine months.  During the 38 hour week the candidate must be prepared to work relatively flexible hours, between 8am and 6:30pm.  The Agency operates an informal dress code and provides lunchtime refreshment. 

The agency, which is based in Colchester, is looking for a researcher/administrative assistant, who is a touch typist and is familiar with the MS Office suite, including Microsoft Outlook. Previous employment/training as a journalist or as a researcher would be a distinct advantage.  A thirst for work, a sense of humour and an overwhelming enthusiasm are essential requirements. Provided the candidate meets the previously mentioned criteria, lack of formal educational qualification is not a barrier to employment.

The candidate must be a non-smoker, who is well spoken with a pleasant telephone manner.

To accommodate the needs of those persons currently in employment, interviews may have to take place on Saturdays and in the early evening.
