Is A Well-Known Publicly Funded Job Placement Organization Playing Fair?
Over the last year, “Whistle Blowers†has received a few phone calls regarding a well-known job placement organization based in South Yorkshire. This organization receives tens of millions of pounds a year in public funding and appears to have a squeaky clean image that contributes to improving the lives of people throughout the country.
However, we have heard from some individuals, that all is not as it seems and their practices only minimally assist the people they claim to help. We are told they do not pay individuals the lunch money they are entitled to whilst on courses and they do not provide free parking for attendee clients (instead, they rent the parking places out for profit to other organisations) even though the funding includes free parking; clearly, they appear to be banking monies raised from the parking! Additionally, it is alleged they collect payment from the government when a client commences employment, even though the client may remain in the job for just a few days, although the payment is conditional on the client remaining in the job for a specified period.
This organization is considered to be very successful and influential. We need to know more about this organisation. If you have worked for them or have been a client, we would like to hear from you.
