North Staffs Combined Healthcare NHS Trust

On 10th September 2011 three whistle blowers contacted us in respect of several “suspensions” at the North Staffs Combined Healthcare NHS Trust.  According to the whistle blowers a consultant psychiatrist, a senior clinical psychologist, a nurse consultant and a manager have been suspended for over seven months for implementing Government policy to move patients into the community.

All the suspended clinicians, who are on full pay, work at the “learning difficulties” unit at the Trust and have been suspended for the most insignificant disciplinary allegations.

We are in possession of a large amount of damning evidence, which suggests the Trust have not only acted irrationally but have suspended the clinicians because moving patients into the community will adversely affect the Trust’s income, whilst they are making a third and final application for foundation status.  We are also aware of other serious allegations, which could jeopardise the Trust’s application.

If you are employed by the Trust, in whatever capacity, we would like to hear from you.  Likewise, if you have any information that might expose the alleged financial impropriety or the contrived suspensions, then please contact us.
