Are Paramedics responsible for the increased admission levels to A & E

“Whistle Blowers” have been contacted by no less than five paramedics from across the UK, who have complained about unnecessary disciplinary procedures and suspensions.

Most alarmingly, it appears that rather than risk disciplinary proceedings for even the slightest misdiagnosis, paramedics are now routinely admitting patients to A & E, when they know, full well, there is nothing acutely wrong with them – they are covering their backs and by doing so, depleting the valuable NHS resources.

If you are a paramedic or technician and you can throw any light of the subject of unnecessary disciplinary proceedings, or indeed, the need to “cover your back,” we need to hear from you – please contact us
