6. How much do you take from any fee that I am paid?

Some press agencies take as much as 50% of the fees generated from the disclosure. In the case mentioned at (1) above, the agency took £50,000. More often than not, the agency will not reveal any further income generated by the story - sometimes, the sum exceeds that of the original story.

At “Whistle Blowers Press Agency Ltd” we will negotiate a fee with whatever newspaper publishes the story. The whole of that fee will be passed to you directly by the newspaper involved. Should you wish to preserve your identity, we will obtain a letter from the editor detailing the amount you will be paid and we will pass a copy of the letter on to you. If necessary, we may pay you in cash or on your behalf, we will make payment to a third party.

If you do not want payment, we will arrange for the newspaper to make a donation to a charity of your choice.
