Ambulance Queuing at Hospitals
Whistle Blowers Press Agency has already published one story about how ambulances taking patients to A & E are kept at the hospital because of bed and staff shortages. We have heard of incidents where up to eighteen ambulances have formed a "log jam" at a hospital and patients have been told they will not be examined for up to four hours (they wait on board the ambulance for that length of time) - it is happening throughout the country!
Whistle Blowers is told that the most acute problem occurs on Mondays because the Consultants do not work weekends and therefore do not discharge patients until their return to work on Mondays.
Are the allegations true? - has it happened/does it happen at your local hospital. Help us do something about it.
